Clinical Massage

Clinical Massage Therapy is an umbrella term for a type of outcome based manual therapy that creatively combines and applies a range of advanced techniques including:

  • Deep Tissue Massage

  • Myofacial Release

  • Trigger Point Therapy

  • AMMA Fusion

  • Hot Stone Therapy

  • Soft Tissue Release

Treatment Plans;

Your first session of Clinical Massage Therapy will last around 90 minutes and will include a full assessment of your health, lifestyle, range of movement and pain condition. Your desired outcome and expectations will also be discussed at this time. Treatment will include a mixture of manual and movement therapy. At the end of the session you will be given some home care advice, putting you in control of your recovery and speeding up your return to health.

Follow up sessions will generally last 60 minutes, further assessment may be required around session 3/4 and in those instances the session will last 90 minutes.  We aim to see a reduction in pain and/or an increase in range of movement within 1-6 sessions (condition dependant). Depending on the severity of your condition sessions may be twice weekly/weekly/fortnightly/monthly - as your pain free time between sessions increases, the frequency of your session will decrease.
